2nd post in my KKR blog, pasted in a place where I absolutely KNOW that it won't get rejected...

Is this post being reviewed too? Coz I would like to understand why my first post was rejected. Did it get spit out by some technical glitch or have I written something truly sensationally controversially unpublishable? I hope it's the latter coz it sounds cooler.

I love to blog. I'm blogging everywhere about most of my interests and my favourite topic: myself. Before KKR website became this spiffy, I've started blogging about the team and IPL 2 in my own blog and will continue to do so since no one has the power to 'review and approve' my posts there except myself. I like the creative freedom that promises.

There're some things I need to clarify though (for anyone who, for whateva reason, stumbled onto this blog) - I came into cricket through Shah Rukh Khan (he's a Datuk in my country and I'm intensely patriotic so naturally I'm here to support him), before he got involved with KKR I knew virtually nothing about it, now I want to know more about it, and I'm keeping myself up-to-date with the progress of the championship through the internet coz: (a) My country is not a cricket-loving country, (b) I don't watch TV so I don't own cable, (c) Broadband is still slowass in my country that none of the suggestions on watching the games through streaming works here.

So forgive me for being unknowledgeable about the game and yet still want to comment on it. Forgive me for liking Shah Rukh Khan more than cricket itself. Heck, forgive me for being female as that seems to be a sore point with some fanatically devoted cricket male fans. But I'm taking an interest in KKR and you gutsy, smart guys just have to live with that. I'm waiting for RC Ent to come out with DVDs of KKR matches in IPL so I can watch them and learn how to calculate their points table (games by other teams simply won't make me interested enough to follow and work stuff out). I'm obsessed with the points table coz it looks like maths (the +ve and -ve numbers mesmerize me) and I think I'm stupid in maths and therefore need tosolve every maths problem I'm being presented with to prove to myself that I'm not entirely hopeless.

I'll be posting this over at my blog too, in case this post is also rejected. Just to be on the safe side.

Rejected??

That's what it says. I dunno why my 1st post in my KKR blog was rejected. I hate rejection of any kind, no matter if it's a technical glitch and that it's my fault for not entering some required information. Maybe that's why I never got into creative writing even though some people told me I should. With technical writing, there's a space where I will never get rejected as long as I pay for the registration fee because we believe that any result is publishable. You just need to find the right media.

I've pasted the same text again in my KKR blog and am waiting for those few minutes they've promised. Let's see what'll happen. Personally, I hate it when I'm being told that my post is being 'reviewed and approved'. Why must it be?? As if anything I have to say is that important to be reviewed and approved by anyone. You busy people should have more important things to do than reviewing and approving my posts. I'm not being sarcastic about this.

Anyway, this is the answer to my question in my previous post. So, it was down last time due to polishing and upgrading and not the result of hacking as I feared (I'm a nihilist, sorry). I'm glad it's working alright now, especially because the new season is starting. Something tells me I'm gonna be learning the rules of cricket and watching a bit of the game to understand what the heck is all the excitement about. I'll probably sign up as a KKR loyal despite being unable to follow the game coz I'm too poor to own cable.

Being an SRK fan surely exposes one to new experiences every 2 seconds XD.

EDIT: I've signed up coz the spankyness of it all is just too much for my heart to take. Just for my involvement with this website, I feel a sorta loyalty that's prompting me to find out at least the basic rule of the sport the team I'm cheering for is playing. I know, I know... you die-hard cricket fans who know all about it can kick me in the arse now for commenting about KKR updates when I know absolutely nothing about cricket XD. But I'm willing to learn! So don't kill me yet~

My comment on someone's blog about the whole 'SRK lashed out at Gavaskar' article:
With all due respect to the legendary cricketer, a heavy critic against the coach of a team and that to by someone whose opinion is regarded by many (as you said) as coming from the God himself, has also severely brought down the reputation of the whole team and its owner because a coach's decision is never his alone.

And why such a weighted lashing against Buchanan's proposed game plan? It is only one game plan out of many. I'm not saying it's unfair as nothing is fair in love and war... and sports is a war played out on small battle fields. Emotions run high during matches, or else why do we have death counts after some soccer/etc. games?

All I'm saying is, don't target a celebrity (be it SRK/Preity/Shilpa) over a new tactical idea. It may work, it may not. If it works, it will go down in the rule book as an alternative game plan out of many.

If it doesn't work, the monetary and non-monetary losses will be SRK's and his co-owner in the end, and at least we'll know that multiple-captaincy is a crap idea in IPL so other teams won't have to tread that rocky path in the future.

My attempt at writing rational comments on someone's blog posts that've been inundated by irrational and highly emotional comments from other bloggers have not gone down well in my previous fandoms. And despite that, I seem to have not learnt from my 'mistakes' XD. O well... I do think I have to write my opinion of it. And I did.
