[Blast from the Past] YoungSaeng & HyunJoong - SS501 singing "Must Have Been Love" Live

I'm disabling my home net starting today. Aaaaaah, why do I feel that even this method will not work too. My deadlines... T___T

Anyway, please enjoy their singing. Listening to "One More Time" in the PK OST CD I just got and comparing it to this clip (and other SS501 songs), I think hyung's voice has become more mature and tender. My feeling about his voice is he's become more "yasashi" and confident, less hurried, more content with his ability.. something like that.. (hehe)

• Short preview of Episode 15 (sub can be found here). Since I've been spazzing in that blog already, I dunno what else to say in my own blog.. (traitor to self!) LOL

• Long preview for Episode 15 ...am totally not watching it coz I want to watch the episode in full. My career of watching long previews is officially over last week, but you're welcome to it.

• Playful Kiss in ETN

• Personnel of [Playful Kiss] has mentioned that “Profit received just for the pre-sold distribution rights to overseas has raked in 4 billion won by itself. It will begin to air from December onwards in Japan. If we were to assume the failure and success of this drama just by looking at the results achieved in Korea here, it is meaningless”. Lovecalls for him to appear in many works does not end as well. With SS501 members dispersed in each different agency, it looks like it will take some time for them to resume singer activities. Because of that, possibility for Kim Hyunjoong to focus on acting career for the moment looks high. Keyeast personnel says, “Not just dramas, there’re also many movie proposals received. There are so many proposals received, not at all worried. But first and foremost, to take a rest first, while also to plan for his next work carefully and seriously”. (link)

 Movie?? Movie?? Yes! Please appear in a movie, hyung! But of course you have to rest first.. seriously, you have to find a solution of how to stay at the same weight throughout a drama. Other than worrying about your health, I'm also distracted by the change in the character's appearance nearing the end of the story and not in a good way... although you're too yummy even when you're ultra-skinny that I'm willing to let it pass, but don't think you can work like that for all subsequent dramas. Your acting life is just beginning and I'm hoping for more works from you. Oh, and what about that solo album you promised us? Please don't do mini albums anymore. Make it a full album so I can save money and buy it. I'm dying to buy an album with only your voice in it *ish greedy*

• There will be a total of 9 episodes for these special features, and will be about Baek Seung-joo (Kim Hyun-joong) and Oh Ha-ni's (Jeong So-min) story after the last episode. The official from 'Group Eight' added, “It won't show much difference with the flow of the original or Taiwanese version, but there will be a special something that only Korean dramas can have.” (link)

Looks like it's been upgraded from 7 to 9 episodes now (yippeeeeee!) and I'm currently wondering how they're gonna pace it.. is it gonna be 1 episode per week? 10 minutes of PK per week?? How am I supposed to survive with such a measly fare? I'll be starving! Good that I'm doing that nonsensical picture recap job. Keeps me amused and happy in PKland for quite sometime to come.. hehe

I've never seen any of them with their clothes off, so I can't verify. Hyung is 2nd to Leeteuk.. huh? Really?

• All the SS501 members have the *consent to put SS501 activities as top priority* clause in their contracts with their new agencies (link).

I love their determination to be together. They make the actually complicated and difficult deal seems so plausible.. "People say we have disbanded but none of that talk has come from our mouths. What are you going to do if we then come out with a new album?" (link). This kind of talk is why I call him 'hyung-nim' in my blog. Eien no SS501 no Rida, Kim Hyun Joong-sama.. we love you to bits and pieces.

This is my next car/bathroom-song singing project. I'ma make hubby's ears bleed with this one.. LOL. Still haven't completely memorized "Because I'm stupid" as it has too many new lines.. arrrgh! Why can't they just have repeat verses? As it stands, I've only got down to half of the song.

Anyway, Never Again looks shorter.. so hopefully it's easier to memorize.. but I like hyung's solo version better than the group version (is that a redundant statement or what? hehe). I think this is the one he was talking about in that radio program.. the sexy stage he wanted to create but failed (according to him, but I think he's plenty sexy here hehe).

I think I've pasted this somewhere in my blog but I can't find it. My blog is an enchanted forest where posts appear and disappear as they please. Okay, found it but the video has been deleted.. demmit. After this, all the youtube clips I like.. I will download and save somewhere.. grrrrr.

Found it!!! Itazura na Kiss (Playful Kiss/Mischievous Kiss) Anime!

I just went on Google grumbling about how I've never found any good download site from that search engine whenever I type "manga download" but this time I struck GOLD~

Not manga.. but the anime! I think the Playful Kiss staff referred to this version more than the anime when they created the scenes because the looks and styles of hyung and his co-stars were compared to the anime characters in that youtube clip.. instead of the manga sketch.

Tanoshikatta~~ ..ep 1 is downloading merrily into my HD. Seeing how fast the MGIG team is downloading and subbing the ep.. I have high hopes that the PK team will be as fast, if not faster..woohoo! Go team PK!! (don't like this M-kissers abbv., hen na no)

Oh! Did you read about how Kim Hyun Joong became the TT on twitter last Thursday (or Friday, depending on where you live)? I couldn't participate coz... mmmm, excuses aside.. I completely forgot!! Gomen nasai, hyung-kun! I wanted to participate though... *sulks*

So I've decided that I'm going to participate in Baby's fan project when he comes here. I won't be able to go (the ticket is too expensive for me and I can't get leave from school *cries*) so I'll just send my photo instead. Hope Baby will keep fighting on like his hyung. Love SS. I wish Baby, Kyukyu and Young-chan will find their rightful places soon. Five together as ONE forever! *confetti*

ITARAZU NA KISS ANIME

Just read a blog post that says:

"An idol group’s leader transferring to another agency on his own is an unprecedented case."

...even though I'm a very very new fan, even I know that if not for the love and trust the Triple S have in hyung, he'd be bombarded with antis by now and his new drama will be boycotted instead of supported wildly all over the net. I think hyung will say something about the future of the group officially as soon as he can do so. Saying anything now while he's still filming "Mischievous Kiss" may have an undesirable effect on everyone involved. But I did realize that even if SS can continue on, things will never be as they were before if everyone is scattered in God know's what agency.

That said, I also don't want them to end up like TOKIO or SMAP... being in an idoru group even when you're nearing 40. It just sounds... sad... for lack of a gentler word. If Seo Taiji had not broken away from his idoru group, would he have been where he is now? Idoru group is supposed to have a short shelf life as an idoru group. I like how Morning Musume works.. or how I think it works anyway. People get in, get known, gather fans, get launched, stay a few years to increase popularity, then kicked out of the nest to survive without their groupmates... to be replaced by a new member. Change is the only constant in life.

It's just that... it amazed me, no... shocked is more like it... when I knew hyung accepted the offer from an agency that is well-known for managing actors. The acting bug musta bit him hard during BOF. I thought, if he had wanted to change course, he'd try to get into a band where he can play his beloved guitar... never thought he'd choose acting. I guess he's really living his motto.. "Live life only once..blablabla" (can't remember)

But to me, it's more like fate that I 'met' him now rather than when he was active in SS. I've always had the tendency to 'follow' actors rather than singers or musicians. Hyung-chan starting to be actively involved in acting just when I'm beginning to get interested in him is a stroke of good fortune for me. I never worry about him not getting into music again. He's a workaholic.He's available for work even during Christmas holidays, come on. He'll find the opportunity to carry out musical activities. I'm more worried about the other SS members. I wonder what DSP is doing, dragging them along into an uncertain future. Are you re-signing them or aren't you? Altho... Hyung Jun was tweeting about buying furniture recently and three of them are reportedly going to appear in a short drama of some sort. So it must not be that catastrophic... mmmm, yet. Hopefully.
